I'm pretty sure that game was born here in Ohio. if not, very close.
The more I drink, the better I am at that game. I seriously can't play it without a beer in my hand.

You don't need to go out and buy a premade set though, it's a lot more fun to build it yourself (provided you own a saw and a hammer or screw driver, and there is a local hardware store nearby...
Sweep the Leg Johnny.
Very similar to my tea bagging set, which is ironically painted with the Scottish flag.

we have summer long office league. we have random guy girl teams. the baggo gods thought it would be funny to pair a big buckeye fan (me) with a michigan fan.
That could quickly degenerate to a sack tap.
well played.

You should also change it to your main activity DURING the Bills games. You have my pity
Play it all the time........
Why buy a set? Not that hard to make the boards....and you can paint them to ur own liking......

I just wish I had a recorder when he said that, cause it sounded so gay.

disman, you have redeemed yourself in this thread.
the pandora thread was a bit worrisome, but apparently, you got your game back.
thank you for your posts in this thread.
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
First time I heard it called 'cornhole' was in Chicago when I was out there for PJ at Lolla, and Phils/Cubs games. We were at this outdoor park at Millenium Park(I believe), and my buddy said, "Go ask for cornhole." I proceeded to tell him to take it deep and I'm not falling for his tricks twice(another story altogether). Welp, after seeming serious in the way he said it, I said fuck it and went up and asked cautiously. But yep, that's what it's called. And that's what I'll call it forever because it's much more fun to say than baggo, or bean bags, or whatever else it's called. I was impressed with how big it was in the midwest - they had a Golden Tee type arcade of the game in bars.
I concur with whoever posted earlier that it just doesn't feel right playing this game without a beer in hand.
Don't think I ever played it sober either!
Everyone is a god-damn critic...

Holy hell, I can corn hole all day!
Now there's an affirmaton of everything good in life if I ever heard one. I think...

my Uncle said he played it in jail - for dinner that night it was either sandwiches or corn-holing and they were all out of bread and turkey

Don't buy a set, you can make your own for a lot cheaper.
Also, whoever said it was invented in Ohio is correct. Its hard to trace the roots of it, but the origins come from the Cincinnati area....Bengals fans claim it as their own, as well as Buckeye fans. Who knows for sure...but thanks for the fun game!
Wow, quite the claim to fame!
The guy who invented Jarts must be a hero in his homtown.
