EP this year?

Mike was quoted in an article (can't remember where?) just before the Backspacer release that the band had recorded so many quality songs that they would probably put out an EP in 2010. Any updates on whether or not this might actually happen?

    They said the same thing with Avocado, that there was leftovers and they had hoped to release them soon after.. I'm sure they have recorded songs they are pretty proud of, but we probably won't see them for some time. It would be cool to get another album this year though.


    Given their recent track record.. 2012. Hopefully one more before the world ends. :lol:

    Mike also mentioned in a January 1st interview with a British radio station that they would be playing new songs at Hyde Park. I think there has been a change of plans and these songs will be part of the next album. Mike and Jeff mentioned in seperate interviews in April that they had recorded a bunch of demos recently.

    I remember Mike saying that in an interview but I kind of doubt we will get a new album this year...Maybe next year?

    an album will definitely be out before 2012(one person stated). My guess is after the tour, they will take a few months off and then go back into the studio. I can't see anyway that an album will be released in 2010. Most likely spring 2011 with a summer or fall tour.
