Last week Bon Jovi played here in NY....4 shows. I personally never went to any of the shows but I heard they were ok. Here are the setlists for the past 4 shows
http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/bon-jovi-33d6b851.html

Seriously? Really? with a catalog that dwarfs PEARL JAM I really though they would put a more diverse setlist especially 4 shows in a row. Other then a few news songs here and there....its almost the same damn setlist everynight wtf......its laughable. Not to say they don't put on a good show....I heard its good. Whatever I expected more. Why would you want to go multiple shows....no need.
Anyway I think as Pearl jam fans we are so spoiled that next time you have a gripe about PJ......just think about the live shows they put on.

They have 2 more albums than PJ does and have been together for 8 more years. They have the same number of albums if you count Lost Dogs. Where do they dwarf PJ as far as a catalogue goes?

The more important question is why are you looking up Bon Jovi setlists?

    Bon Jovi sucks.

Most of their songs are filler. If they played all their songs nobody would even know what they were playing. How can you compare a band that makes music for pop radio and women to get their groove on to a band that plays classic rock/alternative album rock. We listen to all of PJ songs. If you listen to all of Bon Homos songs you are one of the few in the universe.

OT not a fan and didn't go to shows but heard the acoustics at the new stadium are excellent. While I'm not a fan of stadium shows in general with the garden in limbo for the next three years the new stadium might be a option for the boys for at least 1 show.

I am embarassed to admit that Bon Jovi was my Pearl Jam, err, 15 or so years ago? Don't love them anymore but I have to say Jon Bon Jovi is one good business man and I have to respect that. I'm so glad my taste in bands and music has evolved and can proudly call Pearl Jam my favourite band ever ever.
  • What irritates me about Bon Jovi (aside from EVERYTHING) is that they think they created the whole concept of turning an electric rock song into an acoustic one with that horrible "unplugged" performance...."Ooo yeah, we were responsible for that whole Unplugged thing".....Guess what you hairspray sucking anal choading one trick no talent ass ponies.....its been done before and by much much more talented people than YOU!

God, just fucking jump off the face of the earth already, and take those clowns in Nickleback with you...PLEASE

I think Denis Leary said it best with this direct quote:

"I mean Stevie Ray Vaughan is dead, and we can't get Jon Bon Jovi in a helicopter. Come on, folks. "Get on that helicopter John. Shut the fuck up and get on that helicopter! There's a hair dresser in there. Yeah, go ahead in there, yeah yeah.""

Nothing embarrassing about it. They were pretty good back then. :P (I've figured this out only recently though.) I'm not a big fan, and admittedly most of the songs (even from back then) I never listen to. But yeah, they've had good moments.

Also, it's not like Bon Jovi is the only band in the world playing similar sets show after show.

I'm not much of a fan of Bon Jovi, however, they've been around what seems like forever, and obviously have the fans.

The dude is a good guy from everything I read - does plenty for charity.

Don't do a Google image search of "ass pony" if you're faint of heart and haven't turned on the kiddie filter.

I’m sick to death of hearing things From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics...

    I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride, wanted...dead or alive...

You all should get out more often...Just because you may not listen to a particular artist does not necessarily mean they suck...it could mean you have a limited scope of appreciation or perhaps just don't get it...I do not appreciate Opera but that does not mean it sucks...it means I don't get it...

Bon Jovi is a hall of famer and a fantastic performer and Richie Sambora is a fantastic axeman having seen them several times, I just happen to prefer PJ on a regular basis...but what do I know...I think the Beach Boys are great...
