    I think he recently said he would never act again - that Grand Torino was his farewell. But he is still directing.

    That is one of my fond memories with my dad when I was little too... I still love westerns to this day, and a lot of that is from sitting on the couch with my old man watching Fistful of Dollars, the Good, Bad & The Ugly, and all of those other great spaghetti westerns.
