    it would work just fine. in 93 and 94 they played it in the middle of the set and it was perfect. you can really play the song anywhere. it's just a blues riff after all with no real lyrics. See Springfield '94 for a solid version early in the first encore.

    Surprise opener are winners! I think Yellow Ledbetter would open beautifully, easily, then go into something like Animal or Habit... perfect! I was at the Newcastle show where they opened with Alive! Very odd... may have even been the first and only time ever?! (help me on that one)

    Point is, Yellow Ledbetter would be a rad opener!
