Let me preface this by saying that Ive been drinkin again :D

An idea just came to me. Everybody should PM somebody else on here and just get a conversation going. It doesn't matter what you are saying.....say hi, introduce yourself, say happy birthday, comment on a thread, just something. I think it would help to make friends and add to a more "personal" feeling on the board overall. Post in here after you send out your PM. Only rule: it can't be somebody that you have had PMs with before.

I'll start right now......PM sent.

Who's going to join me???

Edit: Not sure if this has done before.......but screw it....even if it has, lets get it going again.

    Yeah, I remember the first PM I ever got, years and years ago. After lurking finally decided to be brave and sign on....got a PM from some guy, saying he had been to the same first show I had gone to. The very next PM was asking for my bra size :roll:

    So yeah, good luck with the random PMs there :lol:

    It's a cute idea. But remember that most members of the Ten Club do not use the forum. In the past, I've clicked onto the profiles of the birthday folks and noticed that they had never posted. So engaging them in private 'conversation' might be a stretch.

    I've recieved 2 random posts from people a couple of months back.
    At first I thought ' what tha'?? :?
    They just said "Hi, I'm bored so tell me about yourself".......or " Hi, I like your Avatar, tell me about yourself"
    So I did answer them, but I have never heard from them since..hahahaha.

    i dont like rejection :|

    about 2 yrs ago, some of us were getting dating service spam on here ;)

    then I think some of the random pm's I received were b/c the person could only send a pm and not post (had not pd 10c fee)
