They showed a still photo of this on The Today Show this morning which was horrifying, but the video ... seriously? Makes me want to throw up!

The boy’s family now claims the 2-year-old is so hooked he can’t kick the filthy habit.

“He’s totally addicted,” said his mother, Diana, 26. “If he doesn’t get cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick.”

And I love how they "ah ah ah" him when he attempts to put the lit end on his tongue. Now, that, would be dangerous!

This is just disturbing. I'm hoping he's one of those people who have some sort of disease and they're really 45 but look like a kid.

i'm not watching the video, just reading about it makes me thinks the parents/guardian need to be educated or punished. I smoked on a regular basis in SIXTH grade, no one was home and my step father left long butts in the ash tray.

Ardi had his first smoke at 18 months under Dad’s unconcerned eye, British papers reported. Mohammed Rizal, 30, opined, “He looks pretty healthy to me. I don’t see the problem.”

just give it a couple more years, dad.

I'm just wondering how exactly this kid looks healthy....he's like a hundred pound toddler and smoking. Assuming they love the kid and spend time with him, I think there are MUCH worse parents out there...but still, fucking stupid move to allow this.

Between the rolling oxygen tank for his emphysema and the complications of Type 2 diabetes in an adolescent, he'll be a hell of a fun prom date.

Yeah he doesn't exactly fit the poster child image for a healthy tot.
Is it stupidity or ignorance? If these countries really are as unaware as the article says they are, there must be some onis on the government to educate the population on the health risks. To assume tobacco poses no risks in this day and age is very, very ignorant and naive.

I was surprised at the large number of people smoking at a certain concert I went to on May 13, 2010 in Bristow, VA.
