And they succeeded. And its a pretty good song.

With Eddie inducting R.E.M., its obvious he loves em too.

    I just heard the song, i kept waiting for Darius Rucker to come in and sing "everytime i look at you i go blind", flame if you will but thats what im hearing.

    Well, since that's a 54-40 cover - and according to quite a few music critics, 54-40 is Canada's REM - then this just reinforces the original post.

    I happen to think that 'Sad', 'Hitchhiker' and 'Unemployable' already sounded like REM, so this is nothing new.

    Great song though.
