Am I the only one who wishes they would include a bit more of the intro music? Really brings back that excitement you get when you're at the show. I could be crazy, though....

Wash does sound great. This radio is great. And if this show is playing now, why did Philly take 7 months?

My only theory was that the tapes were used for a making of a DVD/Bluray release! Only time will tell if that theory was true.

But then why couldn't they release the CDs first without worrying about the DVD, which is what they did anyway (just months later)

I'm not sure. It is kinda weird cause back in '03 when the CD's were shipping, there was no wait for the MSG '03 CD's. Even the 64kbps download hours after the show. Box set's came in on time that included both MSG CD's & single purchases arrived on time in the mail. What I remembered way back.

Maybe Newman had the tapes sitting @ his house for months & just decided to send them to California many weeks back. :|

I close my eyes while listening and I`m back at my 8th row seat on the floor watching it all unfold in front of me. Excellent mix on the bootleg, everything sounds terrific.

Calgary - damn! Didn't realize it would still snow there, and I thought we were hardcore for getting a dusting of snow around Mother's day.

Ed just sounded completely maniacal at the beginning of DTE
