twilight perception part I

Adrift in a sea of friendly unfamiliar faces
She says escape here...
The dawn will show us beautiful new places.
Let's sit around the fire and wait.
Raise our drinks
Make a toast to the nights intentions.
What's your twilight perception?

I've been down this path before and lost my muse
Come and follow along if you choose.
She's coming back again
Thoughts and words flowing
Feels like levitation

Come along won't you be a friend
Small town holds me back
But I don't see an end.
You are the fuel for sweet inspiring verses.
Small little keys to unlock the curses.

After the sun comes up we can finally sleep
Peaceful dreams to set us free.

This is dedicated to everyone that has given me such a warm welcome here with your great feedback
Thank you all! The best is yet to come!

btw, this is a great place to share and read poetry.

actually, it's the only reason i showed up.
    lots of good people here.
    enjoy your stay.
