the full moon looks sad tonight
it's head hangs low and heavy
maybe it reflects my own sadness
floral scents fill the night air
the chirp of tree frogs tickle my ears
the darkening sky lulls me
the first star shines in the night sky
it is your smile twinkling from the heavens
gentle winds caress my skin
like a gentle hug from your arms
goodnight to you...
goodnight...
