For those of you not informed on the situation here is a summary.

Sandra Bullock married James a few years ago. James is a biker and bike mechanic who had a show on the Speed channel. Before Bullock, James was married to a porn star. Obviously Bullock was not marrying some clean cut clean living dude. I mean, a biker guy, covered in tattoos, who used to be married to a porn star.

So Bullock wins the Oscar for the Blind Side and is currently America's reigning sweetheart. Right after the Oscars, it is publicly revealed that James has been having an affair with a tatoo-covered D-list porn star named Michelle "Bombshell" McGee (I love that name! Google an image of her!). Bullock dumps him. The media's reaction is one of shock and outrage and condemnation of Jesse James. Female celebrities everywhere come rushing out to express sympathy for Bullock and to castigate James. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler wear "Team Bullock" shirts on Saturday Night Live. Time to rally behind our victimized American sweetheart!

Um, excuse me? So Bullock did not know James had a thing for porn stars? That in fact he was MARRIED TO ONE before he proposed to Bullock? And now he goes out and has an affair with a porn star and everybody condemns James, but nobody questions Bullock's judgment in marrying James in the first place. HELLO?!?!?! This would be sort of like my wife complaining about my excessive drinking!! I mean, she knew she was marrying a drunk!!

The real truth of the matter is that Bullock marrying James was a calculated career move, as is her divorce of him. Basically, she was washed up goods on the Hollywood front; doing movies that went straight to DVD. So, Jesse James, warts/tattoos and all wasn’t a bad deal, as his profile was probably higher than hers when they got married. Bullock's career fortunes turn after a fluff role in a fluff movie gets her best actress in one of the more absurd moments of a completely absurd enterprise (i.e., the Oscars). However, with the Oscar victory, she instantly transforms from “C” lister to “A” list and America's sweetheart; and hanging around with a tattooed criminal with a second grade IQ doesn’t quite equate with her new social status.

I think that I am going to start wearing a "Team Jesse James" t-shirt or something. Hilariously, last night James goes on Nightline (pause and consider for a second that Nightline cares enough about all this to do an interview with James) and says that all deviant behavior stems from childhood abuse at the hands of his father. He breaks down crying and leaves the interview, he is so distraught. I love it! Stay strong Jesse! Thanks for baring your soul! Between you and Bret Michaels we are really feeling it from the hearts of over-the-hill hard living dudes lately!!

Anyway, the whole James-Bullock-Bombshell McGee thing is a further sign of our cultural apocalypse. There is a massive oil spill in the Gulf, $13 trillion in national debt, a bunch of Wall Street banks picking the rest of America clean, and THIS is what people care about?

I totally hear you on the point that a lot of bullshit that the media puts out there (and a large percentage of people care about) is just that...bullshit.

I got enough problems of my own--I don't need to sit around feeling sorry for celebrities who have screwed themselves into a corner. I would rather my Cattle Barons' Ball get on the television, although I do have a slight crush on the TMZ attorney. ;)

    Ick.
I still want you all to "take care"--I am just damn tired of typing it.

Did you get drunk and watch the news last night and get pissed off? Two posts today, one about Bret Michaels and one about this issue? Both these stories are old and it must have taken you at least 30 minutes to type all this shit about Sandra Bullock, you seem to care a bit.

    Gotcha- so you changed?
Yet your argument seems to be that Bullock should shoulder some of the blame for her husband's infidelity because she married a guy that used to married to a porn star. So she should have known that he would cheat on her because people never change.
    Still confused...

I see what you're saying Nashville. There's a bunch of Literal Nancy's on here that can't read a post and just enjoy it for what it is. Your opinion.

Remember, you don't have to explain a goddamn thing about yourself to anybody on here.

The overall theme of your post is true though. Who genuinely gives a fuck about Sandra Bullock's personal life? Does anyone lose sleep over it? Besides, Sandra, the millionaire, self-pitying whore, herself, of course.

Y'all motherfuckers need to show members from Tennessee a little more hospitality :)

    That's a different Jesse James.

See THIS Jesse likes to build awesome motorcycles and cruise around trailer parks picking up godless whores to fornicate with for pleasure.

Sandra Bullock is a godless whore from one of those trailer parks.

Yes - I have been lucky to have plenty of help and am fortunate to be changing.

What I am saying re Bullock is, didn't she know she was marrying a guy with serious character defects? And like many Hollywood marriages and divorces, I sense these are career moves. I think the media needs an American Sweetheart, so they paint this whole thing as poor Sandra/evil Jesse, in total black and white and favorable to her. Anyway though, I probably shouldn't be out there dumping on anyone, who knows the truth, it does grate me that so many people seem to care more about this kind of crap than making the world better (looks by the volume of my posts I'm guilty here too!). I can understand if one of these people were your friends.
