fire escape

We sit on the fire escape
And watch the sun melt the diamond trees
Into tears.
Makes a beautiful river we'll remember for years.

We watch as people walk by below
And wonder what storied they have to tell.
Wonder how much longer we'll be under this spell.

Time to come down
Time to sleep beneath a velvet canopy
Trading luxury for peace
Trading exploration for home.
<b>Your light's reflected now,... reflected from afar...
We were but stones,... your light made us stars</b>

    I like this one.
    I can picture the peacefulness of sitting on a fire escape on a warm night.
