Green River has plans to play in Portland on 11/28/08 - location to be announced - and in Seattle at the Showbox Theater at the Market on 11/29/08.

There are thoughts of more shows in the not too distant future.

We'll keep you updated as soon as we know more.

Nice. I already have my tickets to that show, so it will be a bonus if Green River makes an appearance. It was fun to see them this summer at Marymoor, and I was hoping they'd do it again.

    According to http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~ptn/mudhoney/tour/index.html
Green River will be replacing Mudhoney on that bill.

Sucks but Mudhoney are not playing the Supersuckers 20th anniversary, their slot has been filed by Green River. It'll be awesome though!

I found out about this in Mojo, which is featuring SubPop and has a disc attached to it with songs from early Seattle bands. I bought it because I'd never heard Green River, and there's a song from Green River on the disc. A worthy investment, cos I get to hear some of the other SubPop bands as well. Mojo is worth buying any Australian fans out there, and it's on the shelves now, easy to get at Borders.

Is the disc called Sub-Pop 200?

Almost. Sub Pop 300 actually. Get it, it's worth the purchase cos you get a good magazine article about the early days too, plus some photos with Jeff in them.
  • I want to go to a GR show so badly!!!!!
