With a secret staircase
To her safe place where dreams will follow.
She finds escape
With sins and needles
As night turns to day
There's no tomorrow

I can see a faint light in your abyss
When was the last time we shared a kiss?
In your hazy eyes I see the old you
And hate the things that have killed your youth.

She runs away
But there's no escaping.
A broken life the devils taking.
Slow suicide by your invention
And a slow rebirth from intervention.

She said I think the worlds stopped turning

But the fire insides still burning

Break through the pain and hate and save me
