Portrait of Eddie

A portrait I drew of Eddie Vedder...my first attempt at drawing one of my biggest inspirations in life...each time I've seen Pearl Jam live, I can't help but be mesmerised by him.

Drawing took about 6 hours, using a HB pencil and 0.5mm mechanical pencil. Let me know what you think. Thanks!!

Very good. The eyes look just a bit wide, but otherwise, I think it looks like him. Over the years, I've drawn an painted Eddie many times. I was in love with him from the age of 13-17 but finally got out of that! I also got a letter from him and front row seats to his concert in 1994...In 1996 I gave him a painting I did of him and a few years later mailed him another one for his bday. You should try sending it to him. I do think he looks at these things!

I'm pretty sure I know exactly what picture you used as a reference for this, if it's the one I'm thinking of, his eyes were REALLY WIDE in that pic. good job.
