Under a tree
I sat recording in ink
all sounds
all visions before me and in my mind

Each bird wanted my attention
they came flying in
closer and closer
sometimes hopping
from place to place
a branch nearer

When I’d focus on the snails
inching their way in silence
across tangled up moss roots
I’d see peaceful work
and contentment

Somehow the drizzling
kept me fairly dry
as wisdom wrapped itself in solid greenery
draping from skyward down

Each and every drop
revealed its true form
as liquid crystals
swimming to earth

I really see this too, its what I enjoy seeing the most in my life
