I'm not for actual violence against anyone but I do believe politicians should fear the citizens. By fear I mean we need to hold the violators responsible and vote them out.

me too but some feel the system is corrupted and act out their anger.
it's too bad that this stuff happens, corrupted politician's help to bring this non-sence on them self's and then wonder why it's happening...IMO.
I wish I could be more specific of what is being destroyed or taken away but to different people it's different thing's,for me it's just tax's and the cost of living out here in SD along with job out sourcing it's turning into a day to day struggle to stay in California for a lot of people like myself that have deep roots here...so people get angry wrong or right they feel their right,also I have noticed the most people don't like change,they like the way their life was and don't want change forced on them so they get angry.

if you can not name one specific thing then you clearly are speculating. you mention taxes....are you one of the lucky weathiest 5% that had a tax increase last year? if not i am sure you actually had a tax cut like 95% of the rest of us...california is fucked because of your state government, not the federal one. who bails california out when you have a wildfire or earthquake? the federal government. and outsourcing jobs is NOT the federal government, it is the CORPORATIONS who ship the jobs overseas for cheep labor to pad their bottom line...these morons do not realize they are threatening the wrong people...i could give several examples of this but it is not worth my time.
1. AT LEAST 105,117* Iraqi civilians' lives *(documented deaths only - we know that reasonable estimates are much higher)
2. AT LEAST 4400 U.S. Soldiers' lives
3. The civil liberties of hundreds of millions of humans
4. Over a trillion U.S. dollars
