MSG Posters 08

I am heading over to NYC to see Pearl Jam in Madison Square Garden and am wondering how difficult it will be to get a poster, will I have to be there very early to have a chance of getting a poster? I REALLY want one as this is my first Pearl Jam show and would be a great thing to get framed with ticket inside.

Thanks, very appreciative.

They can't really sell out THAT fast can they? I mean I'm gonna be there when the doors open so I should be fine right? Won't have to run up like an idiot?

Time and time again....it's the people who DON'T run up there like idiots that see the last poster sold while they're standing in line. It sucks, but it's honestly what you have to do if you really want one. Hope you get one!

It's venue specific. And it's not arguable. (You can't tell the security guards, "but PJ says it's okay!....". That won't get you anywhere. Sometimes all you have to do if they turn you down is get back in a different line...with some young kid who looks like he doesn't give a fuck doing security check.

you also have scumbag concessionaires at msg

they hoarded many of the limited posters in 2003
no organization , no enforcement of selling 1 poster per person
those 2003 posters are still very hard to come by

    leave yesterday !

Not to mention the catastrophuck of East Rutherford '06. They did the same thing there, either holding on to dozens of posters themselves, or selling dozens per person. THAT was a nightmare!

Ames Bros usually do the MSG posters so I wouldn't worry about trying to acquire one.

    IT WILL NOT BE EASY.
YES you will need to run up when the doors open, and YES you stil might not get one.

Hint: try the merch boths on the 400 level if you dont see any down below.

Any body remember buying posters for OTHER shows at MSG 03?

I got the Japan 03 tour poster there.

Ive already resigned myself to paying money on the auction site or perhaps trading one of my klausens for it. I just want to enjoy the shows, and Ill worry abou the poster later.
