Does anyone have or know where I can get the Paramount show on video (or at the very least audio) from April 17, 1994 in NYC? This was my first PJ concert ever and I have been searching all over for it. I saw 2 clips on youtube of 'animal' and 'go' but can't find the rest of it. Please let me know. I'm willing to pay a high price for it if I have to. thanks!

No, that was the show at the Paramount theatre which is under MSG...
I know because that was my first ever PJ show. They opened with RVM and was the first time I realised Ed played guitar

10c got tix first. Rest of the tix were given to radio stations in NYC, which then had contests where you got put on a list to buy tix. If I remember correctly...you had to go to the box office the morning of the show with ID in order to buy tickets. My first show as well. I was only 12 so my Dad had to get the tickets for me. Amazing show. I used to have a bootleg tape I got somewhere in the village...unfortunatly "misplaced" during college :(

The audio can be found at the links provided, as far as video goes I've only seen a really short clip on youtube. I don't think a complete video of this show exists. Its a great show too, one of the best from that tour.

I was in the first row and Eddie kept trying to hit me with his mic stand because I wouldn't move. Then he accidentally spit on me and I didn't wash my hand for a few days...I know, sick...but hey I was 14! After the show was over Stone gave me one of Eddie' guitar pics and said Eddie wanted me to have it and some bitchy girls were trying to steal it from me. I knew after that concert what a great band Pearl Jam were. 16 years later and I couldn't love them more!

    Show Notes From 5H:
The '94 tour ended abruptly with this at the Paramount Theater, located inside NY's Madison Square Garden. Area Ten Club members had preference for tickets. Remaining tickets were distributed to New York radio stations and were given away starting the Friday before (the show was on a Sunday) until late Saturday night.
Winners then went to a separate location to pick up the tix before the show. Ed leads the crowd in a "fuck" chant before 'Alone.' A female fan, screaming "I love you, Eddie" is dealt with. "Aww, that's sweet. I love you too," Ed responds sarcastically. "You don't love me.
You love who you think I am and the image you have created in your mind. You can't love me cause I'm already in love.
Did you know my ten year anniversary with my girlfriend, Beth, is next month?
That is the longest relationship of anyone in the band, unless you count Stone and Jeff." 'Dissident's' lyrics are changed to a spoken, "Escape is never the safest plan."
Mark Arm joins PJ for 'Sonic Reducer.' A very spiritual, intense, cathartic show with an entire night of pummeling beats and guitar solos, Ed howling and pulsating hair. It is unclear what direction PJ will take from this point. Ed references this and suggests going off and living in a cave with Beth.

When in the show did Eddie say this to the fan? I read it in 5 Against 1 and was really interested to hear it on a bootleg.

My first show too!! I only have this on CD and have been looking for years for this on video only to be told it doesn't exsist. EV best line from that night is one that I will never forget and has stuck with me all these years..."the best revenge is living"

Think the only video available is animal and go. Those were actually shown on MTV I think so they must have recorded it.

It was my second show --- the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA was my first same day as Kurt Cobain's body was found. Very intense and emotional show. The Paramount Show was about a week after the Patriot Center to Kurt's death was on Eddie's mind alot. I think that was the reason for the references to " living" etc. It was a very uncertain time for PJ no one knew if they would continue. But here we are 16 years later and they are still as strong as ever giving us some of the best MSG shows !!

Would love a video also, if anyone knows where ?

    :D:D
