were annoying. I was so disappointed. The guys that sat next to us in KC kept asking me to take their picture with the stage in the background. we were in row 14.
of course it wouldnt work out well. they looked at each photo I had to take on their camera in disgust. Then, they would ask me to take another. 4 times this happened. First of all, leave me alone. I dont want to spend my PJ concert trying to get 2 dudes in a shot w/ EV in the background. Second, dont be a jerk about it to me when the pics dont turn out well on your crappy camera.
In STL, I sat by the same guy as in 2003. The same guy that got too drunk and started fights 7 years ago. As the show went on, I could tell he was getting more and more rowdy with each beer. Also, he smelled horrible. Every time he raised his arms, my wife and I would almost get sick. Awesome. more good news, he spilled one of his beers so that I got to stand in a puddle all night.
I always see posts and hear on PJ radio how other 10 clubbers get to meet such great people at the shows. I'm jealous. All I get are the aforementioned tools and dudes that just stand there like mannequins.
is it too much to ask for some neighbors that are as excited as I am to see the my favorite band? I just want a friendly hand shake, maybe some PJ banter and the occasional "they are kicking ass tonight!" nope, somehow I keep getting pigpen.

that's awful, dude. i love to have a couple beers before the show...but always within reason. i have seen/heard so many stories about people getting drunk before/during the shows. i've been pretty fortunate that the "worst" crowd experiences i have had were people being not as into it as i was.
there's always next time!keep on rockin' in the free world.0 -

Go to a pre party. Pick a table with a couple open chairs, ask if you can sit. You will meet great people and make happy memories. Works every timeThen if you are next to folks in the show that you can't wrap your mind around it won't matter cause you will have made some new awesome friends.

Try seeing a show in the Northeast. You'll see it isn't just Midwestern peeps displaying this kind of behavior.Straight down the center for a hot chicken dinner!0
