Am I in the minority here?

I'm not around these boards as much as I'd like to be anymore, so I'm just wondering the general outlook of the Philly shows..

I was at all 4, and I know that Philly 4 was long as hell and a very special show
for obvious reasons, but personally, Philly 3 was not only the best PJ show I've ever seen, but the best concert by any band ever.

Philly 3 > Philly 4

anyone agree?

    i agree that philly 3 was better than 4. but msg2 was better than philly 3 by a very small margin.

    I thought Philly 3 was better than 4, but not better than MSG 2.

    i missed out on philly 3. made it to 4. hated myself for not getting into philly 3 until this msg2 show. now i am happy. amazing

    i agree. the fact that i got to see hold on, habit, and cropduster, 3 of my all time favorite songs, just automatically makes that show the best i've ever seen.

    I said this back then:

    Philly 4 was an incredible performance. It was an event, a happening. Costumes, streamers, ridiculous rarities, absurd length.

    Philly 3 was an incredible concert. A near perfect setlist, playing, crowd, atmosphere.

    To me Philly 3 > Philly 4 like Dark Side of the Moon > The Wall. Even if you pull out all the stops, you can't force yourself to top perfection.

    Still need processing time but MSG II was close to Philly 3.

    MSG 2 is worthy competition, for sure, and everything that has been said about it and it's greatness is 100% deserving, but, personally for me and my tastes Philly 3 > MSG 2

    Force Of Nature, Tremor Christ, Breath, Untitled/ MFC, Parting Ways, Habit, In My Tree, Hold On, In Hiding, Light Years, Footsteps, SoniMSG 2 is worthy competition, for sure, and everything that has been said about it and it's greatness is 100% deserving, buy personally for me and my tastes Philly 3 > MSG 2

    In my opinion, of course.. That run of songs is literally a dream for me. I've chased this band around the world looking for all of those songs, and got them literally all in that one night.
