...that Ed sounded phenomenal for this stretch of shows? I cant stop watching you tube videos........awesome stuff.

    Yes, he (and the band) sounded really really good. Ed was holding long notes at every show I went to. Black at MSG 2, and Low Light at both Hartford and MSG 1, and Betterman.

    I noticed that too. He sounds better now than he did in 08

    After hearing the full Cleveland boot and various other songs from the 2010 tour.........im bumping this thread back up. Ed sounds fucking amazing.

    I've been listening to boots from '95 & '96, and ED sounds better today, then he did back then.

    I agree.......

    I am not a huge fan of the 09 boots/performances even.....but 2010 Ed is singing with some power again

    like i wrote in my fanview - he is definitely in great shape fitness wise ... and he's smarter about it ... expect to see him talk more in between songs as that basically allows him to catch his breath which ultimately is the main thing when he isn't singing great ...

    +1. I've been saying this for a while now, but 2006 was Eddie at his worst in my opinion - and it's been all uphill from there - 2010 was a phenomenal year to hear these guys, I've got to say!

    I haven't made up my mind yet about the New Orleans show. After going to it, and then listening to the boot ad nauseum, I haven't come to a conclusion.

    The only solution is for them to come back and play again... that way I'll know for sure.
    And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

    1/2 full from New Orleans sounded pretty damn good on PJ radio earlier

    Agreed. I went to 5 shows this tour and noticed how strong he was at all of them. So much better than in '08, and even better than some of the '09 shows I went to. Great to hear.

    I was talking about this with a friend today, and we both agree that Ed has been sounding especially awesome lately!
    Thought Ed sounded really amazing at MSG!

    Listening to Amongst the Waves from Kansas City now.......sounds good, smooth sailing as compared to the choppy chorus versions from 2009

    I listened to NOLA today and he sounds fucking amazing on that boot too! TC from that show is a new classic.
