That's around 2500 since I joined. An average of 26 people joining up per day.

BTW add it to my poll...I'll bump it for you!
when did you join?
but also - EVERY order from the goods section gives a "member number" to the actual order, so there aren't 415,000 members in the 10club, but 415,000 transactions.
no i'm positive its my member number, its right underneath membership info. i joined the same day the vinyl came out, monday? but just noticed that it displayed my number today. i thought i was going to get something in teh mail about it...

i didn't say it wasn't your member number
i'm saying every transaction gives a number in numerical order, and 10c numbers are included in that.
if you bought membership and you're 415,010 for example
then someone bought a tshirt
and finally they sold another membership...his/her number would be 415,012
the tshirt would be given transaction number 415,011
get it?
October 2007.
But it's my membership number from my user profile, not the transaction number. And the Ten Club user numbers are up to 450,000+

correct, but i think some might get confused with the wording of "transaction" and "membership" number. a membership number is assigned to each CUSTOMER that purchases something from the 10C, REGARDLESS of whether or not they have an active membership, as per your post above.
keep in mind, though, a customer that purchased an item from the 10C 3 years ago, for example, but didn't have an active membership at that time can purchase a membership today and receive the ORIGINAL membership number given to his/her account when it was created for the original purchase 3 years ago.
membership numbers that were active but weren't renewed are "retired" and not assigned to new members. otherwise, membership numbers are always assigned to every unique order (i.e. new customer name).

Hey, I'm 370*** and thinking of swimming the 'pond' for the next US tour. What kind of seats do you get with your number??

i wonder how it rally all *works*...did over 150K people really join the 10c since i joined in 2002? yikes! amazing. and in regards to your seats getting 'better'....not really. it is not dependent on the high #s, but moreso on the low #s, and how many of those members show up at any any given show. sadly, where i am, a huge preponderance of 10clubbers, plus a big spot people travel to catch shows....whereas i am sure in more obscure places, even higher #s fare much, much better. hell, my # gets 200 level at msg, and yet 9th row dead center in edmonton...so yea........:p
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
holy crap, mine is 189xxx and I used to think THAT wasn't too good

My number is 360XXX and I went to the two concerts in St. Paul w/ Tom Petty on the 2006 tour. The first night I was sitting in the lower bowl on Mike's side, three sections away from the stage in the third row. The second night I was near the center in row 26 on the floor.
St. Paul is a smaller PJ market than either the West Coast or East Coast, so the seats would probably be considerably worse in say, Boston or Seattle.

It seems to me that from 94-2000, not many people joined the 10C as compared to post 2000.

Well... I can tell you that I'm 188,xxx and that put me in the 100 section, Row 6 or so beside the stage for both Chicago 06 shows.
