pure speculation at this point, but Neil Young is apparently booked.

    You mean the Ottawa Blues Festival! Pearl Jam was rumored to be there many month's ago the lineup was started up. Now it's official Neil Young will be there, they are hoping Pearl Jam could officially make it. I hope they do! Canada needs some more Pearl Jam loving! :)

    Also add, these Jazz, Blues, Country etc.. festivals should change their names or take off those words (Jazz, Blues, Country). Cause having Iron Maiden @ the Blues Festival & Pearl Jam playing weeks ago @ the Jazz Festival, doesn't make any sense at all. I can't wait to see Slayer play @ the Country Music Festival! :|

    according to the festivals website no acts have been announced for the 12th yet. So this would obviously be the date. Logistically PJ could do it. Last Euro show on the 10th. Fly to Ottawa on the 11th.

    I am going to be out of the country all summer - I think I'm only around for day 1 of Bluesfest (when they're still in Europe). If this goes down, and I'm not home to see it... Well... Fuck!

    They played Calgary's Festival August 8th last year then played in London, England August 11th. Only 3 day break from one country to another country. It can be done. Though just hope they won't be tired coming back from Europe!

    It's not even a paper . . . I've always considered it a tabloid of sorts. Terrible paper.

    Front page news is NEVER the important issues, it's always about some car crash or fire or something....
