Just to give some hope to some of you, I hit the lottery for MSG 1 with a number of 204XXX. Aisle seat, dead center, row 2. Unreal experience. It can happen. Best of luck.
0 for 6, unless the Ed shows were lottery, can't remember...if that's case we're 0 for 7.

I dont believe anyone under a certain # (I'm thinking 100K) has any chance of winning. I sitll have yet to meet someone who has ever won with a number under 100K. I'm at 88xxx so I'm right at the border. Never been in the first two rows and I dont think I ever will.
Prove me wrong, TC... prove me wrong.

i met someone who had a 1xxx number, he met only one person with a lower number than he. he won twice, once in philly and once in newark.
My buddy won it twice now and both in the front row. Once last year and once this year. I was lucky enough to be with him in Chicago last year, which was awsome. I got to drink out Ed's wine bottle during Crazy Mary. When your lucky your lucky and thats why they call it a lottery....

I know somebody too who won 2 times @ the Ed solo show's back in '08. For the "Lottery" they should do it that once you scored the lottery, that's it. No 2nd chance in being in the lottery. Let others in the 10club members going to the show try to win those lottery seats.
Whoops -I thought it was 06. If it was 08 then I am ... 0 for 23. :?
7 more show's then me, and we both haven't scored the lottery while few have been to only 1-3 show's the last 3 year's & scored those lottery seats.
My number is 72XXX and I hit it in St Louis for front row center just between Ed and Mike (see avatar)[/quote]
That is a great picture. I wish the one my wife took of Eddie sitting there would have come out. I was a few rows back of you. Would it be possible for you to email this shot? It would be greatly appreciated.

The lottery only started in 2008 I believe

Out of curiousity, where would your "normal" seats be for a show? With a # of 72XXX I would imagine you'd be within first ten rows anyway, no?
A normal seat for a 72xxx for a midwest show would be 4th row.
I'm zero for whenever it started and I do anywhere from 5 to 15 shows a tour...oh well, I hope someday. The weird thing is that I know people who have won it 2 and even 4 times in one tour?!?! Something is rotten in Denmark with odds like that :?

not trying to be a dick but i highly doubt you saw them 41 times out of the last 58 shows (when the lottery started), much less got 10C tickets to all of them.
PS: I hit the lotto once; 9th row in DC '08. It was awesome.
0 for 50 over 19 years, but I've got by once with a little help from my friends - thank you for sharing and some decent seats but never front. Someday my teenage son and I are going to be row 1 center - hopefully sooner than later (ain't getting any younger, but still out rock the kids half my age I see). Haven't sat once at a show in 19 yrs including once being 7 mos pregnant at the Merriweather Pavillion in '96.
