Because I'm reading "The Master And Margarita" this time. Pearl Jam read it when they produced Yield. So I'm trying to get some atmosphere from the Yield era. After Mikhail Bulgakov's novel I'm going to read "Ishmael".

I read Ishmael mainly because of Pearl Jam and the whole "more to life" vibe. I was greatly disappointed to be honest. Way too simple and almost boring.

Ten,Vs,Yield or Binaural...Everything else has obvious flaws.

    Vitalogy-too many weird tracks
    No Code-bad tracklist
Riot Act-tracks are too good live to deny Ed's performances are a little weak
S/T and BS are missing something that every previous PJ album had, something unexplainable.

    Think I'll go with Binaural

    Vs.

They could never quite recapture the energy that went into that album (although Avocado was a nice try). Only one song that you could even say isn't great, arguably (Rats).

I'll vote for Avocado as most underrated album, especially around here. (I know that wasn't the question.)
