Creepy guy offered $2400 FOR MY TIX

Did anyone else encounter some creepy little guy offering to buy fanclub tix. He was standing behind me when I got my tix....then when I went to the seating chart he followed me and said they were great seats.....he wanted to buy them off me.....I declined but he followed me saying he would give me $1200 for each ticket. He went into his pocket and showed me a wad of $100( probably fake). Although it was tempting but still declined......call me crazy. I am sure if I would have done it I would have been jumped by 6 guys and money taken back....LOL knowing my luck. If you see this troll runnnnnn....lol

    You couldve done it and just bought a new pair of tix from someone else. That way you wouldve still seen PJ and be up about 2200 bux!

    Anyone's 10c tickets are not theirs to sell. The band allows its fans to get great seats at face value prices so the fans can use them, not turn around and scalp them. If it wasn't for the band doing this, you would never get your hands on these tickets at face to scalp to begin with.

    It is not an option, no matter how much someone offers you. If everyone scalped their seats, there would be no 10c seats and instead of selling to the scalpers you would have to buy from them to get awesome seats. And you wouldnt be paying $85 a seat either.

    i spoke to the box office mgr last night he said those guys have counterfeit $100s, he said that they started putting it together when msg concessions were taking fake 100s without knowing it. when they started to mark the bills they found out that the holders trying to buy beer/merch sold tickets and were paid with fake counterfeit money. he said the dont take 100s no more.

    My friend had 9th row and that same guy offered $2400 and when she declined, offered $3000. She still said no. He said she was crazy for not taking $3000 for 2 tickets. She told him he was crazy for offering $3000 for 2 tickets.

    We also suspected fake money. Could always tell the guy you'll sell them but you won't take $100's, that he has to go to that Chase bank and get the $$$ in $50's. Lol.

    Once you take possession of something, it is yours to sell. In the case of pearl jam, if they are caught they will probably lose future ticket privileges but saying it's not an option is false. That is a whole lot of money to turn down but if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Come on..3 grand for Pearl Jam tickets?

    creepy little dude tried to get me to sell my tix for $2400... then $3000. it was like a reflex to just say. "Nope." if they were anything other than pj tix i would've considered it... eventhough i didn't approach him it's still scalping and that brings some seriously bad ticket karma. don't need any of that thank you.

    ps. if i had done it (ie not 10c tix or pj) i would have taken him to the bank nearby and had him exchange the money for smaller bills...that way i'd know they were real.
