A rough day

sigh for that, no this, rough day
one of those difficult times for me
first it's going okay, and then...
a few surprising things happen and
it feels like a black hole sucking me in
and then I can feel myself starting to shut down, slam shut
all I can do is push against this until it goes away
for I don't want to slam shut like this
I don't want to stay in the dark and sit in a corner
I just don't wanna close up, shut up, and sink!
I have to struggle against the tide instead
oh why does it happen when I'm very upset?
I don't like it one bit!
