this is why the moved it. Sorry I find this reason funny.

The sole reason for rescheduling is so people can mosh and act stupid-

    Welcome To LimpBizkit.com
LIMP BIZKIT TO RESCHEDULE US TOUR
Our reason for moving the US tour dates is simple.

We insist on bringing you the best concert experience we have to offer.

An amphitheatre environment won't allow us to do that with so many seats directly in front of the stage. Moving away from amphitheatres and into venues with appropriate floor space will allow more room for jumping, dancing and moshing directly in front of the stage, instead of on a grassy knoll a hundred yards away. Ultimately this is what we prefer. Those of you who want to sit down during our show will find plenty of seats around the outside of the floor area. We feel strongly about our decision and want this to be your best concert experience of 2010.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience.

The updated list of dates will be announced as soon as we finish routing the tour (which is being done now) and anyone that has already purchased tickets will be refunded accordingly.

    Sincerely,
    Limp Bizkit

Why the hell was Ice Cube gonna open for them? I know he makes family movies now, but it's still a damn travesty!

Is it harder to tell how empty a venue is when it's GA?

"LIMP BIZKIT has released the following statement regarding its decision to cancel its previously announced summer tour in favor of a fall arena outing:

"Our reason for moving the U.S. tour dates is simple: We insist on bringing you the best concert experience we have to offer. "The updated list of dates will be announced as soon as we finish routing the tour (which is being done now) and anyone that has already purchased tickets will be refunded accordingly."

The "Gold Cobra" tour was scheduled to begin July 3 in Holmdel, N.J. at PNC Bank Arts Center.

According to frontman Fred Durst's recent tweets, only headlining shows in the U.S. and Canada are affected. Festivals, including radio events, are still a go as are the band's European dates."

Hmmm, sounds like BS to me. I mean, they booked amphitheatres. They had to know that there are seats IN FRONT of the stage!!! I'm guessing that ticket sales were not as strong as they had thought they would be, so they are gonna just opt for the smaller venues.

Most Amphitheaters I've been to usually don't have seats. Some places will bring in seating but most are just lawns that I've been to.

Look at the tour dates. These are some well known and huge places. Most of them do in fact have seats. These are places that PJ has played, and other big bands and festivals as well. LImp Bizkit has most likely played some of these places back in their heyday. Even though i'm not a betting man, i guarantee that this postponed tour is because of slow ticket sales. Their excuse makes no sense at all. It's probably the most comical excuse i've ever read.

I think its fairly obvious they couldn't sell enough tickets to warrant playing amphitheaters, it would be pretty embarrassing to have 2,000 people in a 20,000 venue. They'll move to smaller venues, ballrooms or clubs and use the seats on the floor issue to try and save face.
