Anybody know what to expect? I would absolutely be there if I were in the Seattle area right now. I bet there will be a few rare Klausens available.

I am fortunate enough to live in San Francisco where we have poster shows quite a bit.
While the idea of rushing around to find all the rare prints is great, here's my big tip ... hang around for a few hours after the initial rush. Take some time to chat with the artists. Seriously, you almost never get this opportunity.
If you're a fan, tell them about your favorite piece of theirs, maybe ask about the inspiration for it, don't be a creepy stalker about it, but, who doesn't like to hear praise. Perhaps ask what they have planned in the future. Folks like Guy Burwell, Justin Hampton ... real nice guys to talk to. I say "after the initial rush" because at the beginning, it's usually pretty busy for the artists, but later in the day, it's steady, but not crazy, good time to talk and take your time.
Also, check out the non PJ artists ... Gregg Gordon, Marq Spusta, Jeff Kleinsmith, etc ... check out their stuff on expressobeans.com and go poke around their booths and chat with them ... lots of good stuff and great guys to boot.

Oh, the expressobeans thing ... I suggest you go through each artist's portfolio over there, or on the artist's actual site. Maybe make a list of prints you might like to have.
I remember the first TRPS show here in San Francisco I went to, and I made a list. ... During the show I got over to Gary Houston's booth and chatted with him ... I ended up being there for 45 minutes. We got into Pearl Jam, he talked about how he listened to Ed's solo album several times on the ride down from Portland. Finally, I asked him about a 2000 print he did for PJ ... and sure enough, I scored one of these beauties!
He was happy I asked about it and extremely flattered that I showed him a list and this was the #1 print I was looking for at that show. I make a point to head over and chat with Gary every time he comes back ... super cool guy.

1) Bring cash! Not sure the setup, sometimes they have credit card readers, but sometimes they don't (maybe someone involved with the show can answer that???)
2) Don't balk if you ask an artist about an older print and they state the price and it's expensive. This is their living, this is their work and many times, you might be getting one of the very last prints in their archives. Feel free to kindly negotiate, but, if an agreement can't be met, it happens.

If you got a copy of Deep, you can cut one out of that, or just print it off. That would be cool if 10c made 'real' membership cards...like a library card! Wouldn't be too hard, they make those player cards at the casino in like 2 seconds....10c are you listening? I'll make the cards and mail them out, I'm looking for a job!

Most PJ posters were 60-80, many other bands/prints were 15-50. Klausen's were at market value. Honolulu was $300, DC was $250, signed EV Chicago was $350, Borgata was $200?, Soundgarden was $30, AIC was $25, he had pretty much everything available and crossed them off the price list as they sold out.
Felt bad for some other artists as the big crowd was for Klausen while they sat at empty booths, they all had nice prints and are quite talented.
On the way in, 10c handed out PJ tote bags filled with goodies (fixer vinyl, deep issue, superball!, brad stickers, drummer tattoos, backspacer poster, package of immagine photo prints). 10c was also selling imagine posters for $10 and Sigg bottles for $10! Limit 1 per person. Easy street had a booth with vinyl next to 10c. After the ten clubbers got in, they were charging a few bucks for the bags/posters they gave us.
There was a DJ playing music during the show...
That's about it. Thanks to the 10c for hosting the event and passing out goodies, I appreciate it!
