Neil had a couple shows in NY State this week and now doesnt have another show until tomorrow and I think that's in Boston area. I'm calling it: Special Guest Tonight Will Be Neil Young. Enjoy you lucky bastards!

    these are my hometown shows. i know how it can play out, but it doesn't mean it will.
    and either way, i am simply expressing my personal opinion. whatever happens, happens...and i will be as happy as hell to be there b/c i will be seeing pearl jam live in my hometown! doesn't get much better than that. well, seeing them in an ancient coliseum in verona was pretty fuckin' cool ;)...but yea.....pj at home is just bliss!

    i didnt kno he was in NY state...im seeing him on sunday in CT - was hoping Eddie would show up there since they'll be done w/the tour friday, take sat off, and show up as a guest sunday in the state next door BUT uncle neil @ the garden would be sweet...any song would be amazing from usual PJ covers but Cortez would be the best!!

    If Neil does show up PJ fans in attendance should consider themselves lucky & show the man some respect... Let's not embarrass the band like "that other time"... Give props to a living legend, just like the band does.

    I was at the VFC show in '04 when Neil joined them on stage. At first it was kind of neat and different, but the 2nd half of the show went from a PJ show to a Neil Young show. Even though I like Neil, I was there to see PJ.

    I've been to 6 shows and when people ask me which was my favorite, I can't name one. But...I can name my least favorite and it was the one where Neil joined them.

    No disrespect at all to Neil, but if I pay for PJ, that's who I want to see.
    The only people we should try to get even with...

    Was that when they played watchtower and cortez with Neil? That watchtower was AMAZING, one of my favorite things to watch on you tube.

    I would gladly trade an entire encore to backing neil for his presence

    In related news, I have tickets to see Neil tomorrow night in Worcester & I have to say I'm not overly psyched about hearing "Hey Hey My My" twice. If PJ played "Jeremy" to start & end the show, I'd be a little bored.
    It's like Bridge... you just never know how many times you'll hear Sugar Mountain or Comes A Time over the course of a weekend.

    Don't bank on this.

    Neil is a mystery....even to his nephews in Pearl Jam.

    That kind of energy may too much to handle....But we are talking about New York...so who knows.

    I was hoping for Downtown or Peace and Love (since Ed sings a couple parts) in Toledo when I heard Neil was there that night. Act of Love was great though.

    That was the last time Neil was a guest at a PJ concert, but he also played Throw Your Hatred Down with them both days of the 2006 Bridge School Benefit.
