Best Show That You Didn't Attend.

Usually around here when the topic of best shows come up everyone is biased and picks the shows they attended. I'm not speaking for everyone but it is usually the case.

I want to know what everyone thinks is the best show they weren't at or the show that you wish you had been at but weren't.

For me it has to be Mansfield 3 2003, show is amazingly epic and the acoustic set at the beginning is truly jaw dropping setlist wise and has just plain beautiful renditions of a lot of songs I love.
{if (work != 0) {
work = work + 1;
sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
else if (work >= 0) {
reality.equals(false);
work = work +1;
}system("pause");
return 0;}

    MSG 2003... I was a casual fan and I think I had a meeting or something the day tickets went on sale and I was like, oh well. I don't think I was a 10c member back then either. Ah, how young and clueless I was!

    I had tickets to both nights and that summer was just awful for me. A death in the family was the biggest blow. :(

    I don't know if its the "best" show I didn't attend, but I went to the 9/8/98 show in NJ when the Breath campaign started, held up a sign and everything...so when they played it a couple of nights later at MSG, I regret not going to that show. But that was back in the days when you only could get 10C tickets for one show, and I would only go to one show because of that...silly me.

    I don't know if it was the best, but I have always regretted missing Philly 05. I was just back from the Stones/PJ show, and a bunch of Canadian shows, and I simply couldn't do it, but I've always been sorry I missed it.

    Either of the Red Rocks shows back in '95.
    Could they just please just have a 3 night run there?

    I've always wanted to see a show at the Gorge...and I would pick PJ over any band, any day. That said, the historic Mansfield shows are a close 2nd.

    they're supposed to be epic and all.

    No such thing as a "best show" I wasn't at.

    If I wasn't there then it sucked - FOR ME :(

    Don't know if these were good shows, but I could still kick myself for missing the three shows in Switzerland in 1992 and 1994, especially the Albany show in Winterthur.

    3/11/95 - Sydney
    Would've been great to see how much a 41000-strong GA PJ crowd at the outdoors Eastern Creek raceway in Sydney is capable of rocking, considering what I've been used to over the past two Aussie tours.
    11/14/97 - Oakland
    Cos it means seeing PJ up first and then The Stones afterwards. Duh.
    6/22/00 - Milan
    The original loud Italian fuckers crowd. Woulda been awesome.
    7/17, 18, 19/03 - Mexico City
    Loud Mexicans get their first. Yummo.
    4/29/05 - Easy Street Records, Seattle
    A PJ show at Easy Street. Ohhhhhhhhhhh mannnnn
    9/28/05 - Pittsburgh
    mmmmmmmmm, PJ and Stones, again.
    10/5/05 - Chicago
    It's friggin Robert Plant, man.
    11/25-26/05 - Buenos Aires
    The loudest fuckers ever. Crazy Argentines.

    Aww... that show was AWESOME!!! From Ed wandering on stage at 4pm saying: "Jees, there's alot of you" and singing "Throw Your Arms Around Me"; Mike smashing the shit out of his guitar; Ed stopping the show until everyone got water; the crazy amount of steam rising from the mosh to the point it was hard to see the stage. Definitely the most insane show and mosh of any band I've ever seen.
