Have you ever been to a show by yourself? Last night I went to Newark solo. None of my buddies could go and I said F it I'm going anyway. PLEASE TELL ME IM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO DO THIS!! I went on ticketmaster and somehow the day of,I got section 17 lower level row 5 Aisle. Basically parralel to the front row floor on Mcreadys side.

    I go to shows by myself all the time, including ACL last year. It is fun to go with friends but I don't mind going alone either. I have fun either way. I don't really have alot of friends down here, so I've gotten used to going to shows solo.

    I have been to a bunch of shows on my own. I love to see bands I like, whether or not I am with people. Sometimes I prefer to go alone, because if someone doesn't know the music or they aren't into it, they can be annoying. I just want to rock out.

    Went by myself to one of the shows at Summerfest with Tom Petty. Picked up a single ticket the day before from ticketbastard.

    I've been to about 10 shows on my own. I'd rather go with someone else but if no one wants to go, I'd rather not miss out a I band I really enjoy.

    I traveled all the way to Philly in October by myself. My 21st birthday was Halloween and my parents paid for flights and hotel as a gift. None of my friends could afford to go along so I said, "Fuck it, I can't miss this!" and went by myself. I split tickets with fantastic guys both nights and had a blast. I was a little nervous traveling solo as I've never done it before, and being a girl, I thought I might feel a little uneasy wandering unfamiliar territory alone for a few days. Other than a weird encounter with a creepy drunk Phillies fan outside my hotel, I had no issues and would definitely do it again. I've also gone to some local festival shows solo, which is always a good time.

    Saw EV by myself in '08, took a nephew to Mansfield in '08 and to Boston Monday night. He enjoyed it, but isn't... isn't... one of us. If you know what I mean. (And I think you do.) 8-)

    Went to Eddie last year by myself, Philly 3 by myself, sold my extra to a 10Clubbers son, Mansfield 08 by myself and drove 6 hours and saw them by myself in Virginia this year.
    32 shows and counting...

    I've been to a Pumpkins show by myself, and will go to the PJ one in Lisbon alone. In my book, when there's a show that you wanna see and no one else will come, you should go by yourself. I mean, why not?

    I go to shows by myself every once in a while. While I prefer going with friends, I can't stand waiting around for them to make up their minds to go, come up with the $ (or have me spot them as I often do), and them have them back out last minute.
    It's a lot less hassle if it's just me. Plus, I've scored some awesome single seats over the years which were a lot closer than had I bought a pair.

    i went to both msg 08 shows by myself and had a great time. night 1 i had some dude next to me smoking joints and night 2 i was next to a former bouncer of cbgb's, it was a highlight for me being next to a former bouncer of cbgb's. the stories he told bout the club and all the bands that passed through there were unreal. also i went to AIC alone this year and wound up being on the rail dead center with stickboy and his friends for the concert.

    I went to MSG x2 in 2008, all by myself!
    I had a blast and met some really nice people :)
