Oasis already killed that version, but PJ would slaughter even that.
If you ask me, there is no Neil Young song PJ would not perform 10 times better than he ever has.
But who am I to say....that's just me. Not a big Neil guy
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    I'm the Ocean.

Dammit, someone has to play these Mirrorball tunes.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

    Like a Hurricane

Cowgirl In the Sand or Down By The River would be kickass tunes for them to jamout. Heard a performance or 2 from the Mirrorball era and they rock.

I saw Neil and PJ at the Reading Festival on the Mirrorball tour, they did a great 15 minute Cortez The Killer.

I'd love to hear PJ play Down By The River or Revolution Blues

Neil actually played that on their Greendale tour here. I always that was kind of a throwaway song, kind of like Dirty Frank for PJ. He also played Country Home, one of my favorite Crazy Horse tunes.

Powderfinger anyone? They would kill it!

I love powderfinger....and, yes, PJ would kill it but not sure it would be the best pick from Neil's catalogue (IMHO).

My My Hey Hey is fun to play, but I often screw up on the intro guitar part.
I like to cover Old Man, Needle, and Long May You Run.

Awesome idea. PJ would destroy that song! :ugeek:

I always found the picking on Needle to be as challenging as not bitching/laughing when my girlfriend watches Dr. Phil. :|

i always thought the flaming lips would do a great version of 'a lotta love'

I love that song and love dinosaur jr but their cover of it on "the bridge" was not one of my favs. It isn't J singing and they do it really fast and really punk rock. I might have liked it more if J sang it.

The Flaming Lips do after the gold rush on that album and it is pretty cool. My fav is probably the pixies doing winterlong and oddly soul asylum doing bar stool blues
