I know this should probably go in a different place, but I HAVE TO let you all know about an amazing band that I have been listening to for a while now. They are called Local Natives and the album is called Gorilla Manor. It is to me, hands down one of the best albums I have bought in a very long time. From beginning to end. I would say it is like throwing Fleet Foxes, KOL, PJ, Vampire Weekend in to a blender. The vocal harmonies alone are worth the cost of the album, but the musicianship is just unreal. Please check them out, and then you can come back and thank me later. I will almost guarantee that if you get this album, it will be all that you listen to, aside from PJ, for a long time.

    I've been listening to their album for a while now...such a great album....its pretty dam amazing actually!

    there is already a thread discussing them. Definitely reminds me of Fleet Foxes and Grizzly Bear though.
