All That's Sacred: Podcast #53 now up!

This tour might be short, but the guys are definitely making the most of each show. Nightly, I'll check the set lists from the west coast and find my mouth agape as I read. Usually by the encore my jaw will just completely give way and shatter on the ground! My envy of the lucky ones in attendance grows exponentially and has me glowing a healthy shade of green. Unbelievable.
Seems only appropriate to end the run with a two night stand on the biggest stage and in the biggest city in the country: Madison Square Garden in New York City. To help prepare for this occasion, #53 takes a look back at a few memorable moments from past NYC/MSG gigs. As good as some of these are, I can only imagine what people are in store for this time around given the momentum of the big wave the boys are riding into these last two shows.

I've been playing catch up with a lot of your shows lately (like from 43 on). Been saving them for long drives because they're so darn entertaining. I've got another one tomorrow so I'll be joining you then!
I've got to say that, although there have been some here and there that have stood out as I've listened over the past year, my absolute favorite, by far, was the episode where you were talking about the Soundgarden show. My heart broke a little bit when I found out about this show and absolutely knew there was no way I could even attempt to go. I've got to say though, that hearing your recap and the unbounded enthusiasm in your voice made me feel like I was there. I got so excited listening to you describe the show from the point of you starting to hear rumors to you actually being there. It was just terrific. It was like you had just walked out of the show and were telling me all about it.
Thanks so much for this one and every one. Every week. Tuesday and Wednesday are my favorite days of the week because of Lost and All That's Sacred, and we all know where Tuesday is going after this week...

HeavyHands: Glad you dug the Soundgarden recap. April was fun for me to take a little time off the Pearl Jam and dive a little deeper into their music and side projects outside the band. I didn't know how well received it would be but got lots of positive feedback. Many folks told me they went out and bought their first Brad, Green River, MLB, etc as a result. The Nudedragons Showbox show was just about the biggest thing to happen in Seattle since I moved here 9 years ago. After getting tickets and experiencing the whole thing, there was no way I couldn't ramble on about it on the following podcast. I'm glad my telling of the day brought you there in a way and softened the blow of not being able to attend yourself.
Also, I've long loved hearing people say they look forward to Wednesdays for ATS. Thank you.
