What show do you regret the most for missing?

I'll start. I was in a meeting during ten club tickets sale. Missed my chance. Had a buddy who was offered free tickets, but the giver backed out. My friend planned a weekend get away, so I went. I came home saw the setlist and I was upset.

Pittsburgh,PA 6 23,2006

I have still not heard Release or Man of the Hour. Two of my favorite songs, played in this same night. I am sure everyone else has a story too..what is yours?

Storytellers in 2006. The girl sitting next to me at the DC show the night before had an extra pair for Storytellers, and I had to turn them down. Still burns!

Either Lollapalooza '92 (then I would have also seen Soundgarden) or Philly I last year. Could have easily got Ten Club tickets but decided to be (somewhat) responsible and only go to Philly II-IV.

I think I can beat all on this one with a story that could bring tears to your eyes. It was January 17, 1992 and my best friend at the time offered me tickets to go see the new band in the local scene at the Moore Theater. I wimped out and said I had to work even though I probably could have gotten out of it at the time. So the next day my friend comes to me and says Dude you should have been there it was incredible and they filmed it (for the Even Flow Video!) To make the story worse The following week the stranger ( Seattle's weekly local scene mag) came out and had a picture of Eddie laying on the crowd after he jumped from the balcony rail and in the picture there was my friend and the guy who went instead of me standing right next to Eddie! As well my friend can be seen stage diving during the song. That's a day I will always regret however since then I have always been a loyal fan club member and have not missed an opportunity to see them even though now that I live in the South they are few and far between! So now you can all shed a tear for me...... and console me in third row if you happen to meet me there :)

I had tix for opening night of the U2 tour (well that leg of it) in Toronto that same night (which I bought long before PJ announced that show). I wanted to give up my ticket but my friend who was going with me, it was her first U2 show and her first time at the ACC and she did not want to go alone. I knew I'd catch shit from her if I ditched her.
I STILL kick myself for that!
Oceans opener...Alone, BRY...the Stoney dance that NOBODY got on film. UGH!

its actually TWO shows - two shows in one year back in 1992 in my hometown in great, small and intimate venues :( i was 18/19 by that time, knew Pearl Jam just by their name, a friends had tickets and went to both of the shows.
I totally forgot about that until a few years back when i discovered pearljambootlegs.org and saw the dates listed ...

State College PA November 17 1991. Played Rec. Hall a 5,000 seat gymnasium with RHCP and Pumpkins (if memory is right). Live an hour away and had tickets ($5). Didn't go. Still regret that move
