Who's pumped for Beacon Theatre?

Still no updates? Still no pearljam.com announcement? Crazy.

I finally got my tickets this weekend and am super pumped. Who else thinks we are in for a real treat?

My one worry is that I hope the 2800 people there will be pearl jam fans ready to rock out and have fun and not be old rich folk who have no idea what a pearl jam is.

Hahaha. 1 more night!

you're right, i really hope the crowd wont be snobby, but i suspect it's going to be all good.

My flight leaves in the morning at 7am, I'll be in NYC by noon. I am so pumped, and I am going to rock out like this is the last show I am going to see for at least a few months(I am being optimistic that there WILL BE MORE DATES), so basically I'm going to lose my mind!

If the Beacon is anything like the Vic, there definitely is going to be a sit down crowd type present in the balcony's especially but I have pretty much top row, top balcony so I can do whatever I want!

Come dance next to me, if the people around you suck. Balc right center L 26

OHHHHHHHHHH, I can't wait!!!!! I just drove back from NYC on Thursday, I had to come back to Indiana for work for a few days, but I was able to catch both MSG shows, and since the end of the last MSG show, I have had butterflies in anticipation of the Beacon.

Im totally ready. Seems like people think it will either be all greatest hits or a bunch of rarities. My guess i the latter (an acoustic set like Benoyara?!). In any event, it will be special simply because its such a great venue and its not often that you get the chance to see one of the all-time greatest live bands in such an intimate place.

i'm guessing that at $250 a piece for the cheapest tickets that they are going to put on a greater hits show more than a rarities.

although i'm happy whatever we get, someone who pays 3000 and doesn't get to hear one of there bigger songs is going to be pissed.

    but who cares?

seeing as that work has prevented me from making hartford and mansfield 2 as i had originally planned, i am really looking forward to tommorrow.

my only hope is that they play black so my wife will be happy.

I am going with 2 other 10C members. Met several people at the 6 shows this tour I attended that are going. I think there will be a lot more fans there than people think. The balcony is gonna be great, as those are the $350 and $250 seats. . most fans will probably be in that area. It'll be same as always. . if the crowd shows appreciation. . so will the band. Just the chance to see themn in a small venue will be great.

i doubt the balcony folks will be sitting down much, since most people i have spoken to that are in the balcony are die hard pj fans...

Stupid question, but has this sold out?

I know a lot of us would love to go, but can't afford it......I should have just done 2 upper balconies right away.
