As I recall, the outro to Black is different, the ending solo in Alive is different, as a whole, there is less polish on the 'redux' disc. I think it sounds better. In fact, I have the re-release on both CD and LP, and I don't listen to anything but the 'redux' version. Subtle differences, but they make a pretty nice difference.

I thought it was a major sound difference. Less reverb, bass sounds tighter. Just listen to the keyboards in black. Its stripped down a bit but you can hear everybody. Eds voice sounds way better on the remix.

less reverb then the original..and the vocals are a bit differently mixed, easiest track to tell the difference is Jeremy..Jeff always said he didn't like how you can hear the actual lexicon reverb effect on the entire album.

Huge difference! Agree with a few already, less reverb on vocals and much bigger drums and bass. Bigger snare especially. More modern mix.
