Anyone here in the Bend area wanting to attend, this sounds like a pretty cool event.

Day of Zinn, commemorating Howard Zinn’s lifelong devotion to social justice, on Monday, May 24, in Cascades Hall 118: http://www.osucascades.edu/news/join-us ... oward-zinn

The day will feature:

(1) readings of Zinn’s works by volunteers (please see web page above for information on signing up to read between 12-5pm) ,

(2) a participatory Wall of Social Justice which all are invited to help construct,

(3) ongoing video montage of Howard Zinn and others engaged in his efforts playing in the atrium of Cascades Hall between 12-5 pm,

(4) dinner and a movie (we’ll view Zinn’s autobiography You Can’t Be Neutral on a Moving Train followed by an open, safe discussion of social justice issues in our community). Please RSVP for dinner as we’re providing a free dinner for up to 40 or 50 folks .

Please help me spread the word and let me know if you have any questions or want to attend.
I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me...GUARANTEED!

Hail Hail HIPPIEMOM
