"pour ami"

The sum
one time
now there’s only subtract

known places,
now they’re landscape
but it’s crazy to be homesick here

thinking, by myself,
thoughts are thinking
and it’s so nice to destroy the heart

the future shies, past tiresome and I sink
care only for the one

took a hold
sank
but overboard I said:
“I caught a life sign, grabbed ahold…..of her and

am still sinking…”

Says The Narrator:
- A true hero, Gents and Dames!
Didn’t understand at that time and he's everlastingly trying to!

NB. Nothingman was my source of inspiration...
"Here's a token of my openness..."

This poem is a bit hard to follow, but that is because you know the subject matter more than we do (I can see a similar thing happening with many of my poems, specially those who are more personal in nature)

Feelings of emptiness, numbness, even despair as you sink - that is what I get from it.
Also... clinging to another person to save you... that just does not work... and so you have written
I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream...
If I knew where it was I would take you there.
