Pretty self-explanatory title, I'm just wondering as I'll be heading back to Long Island after each show, and am a bit nervous about missing the last train out. Any advice?

Just leave when you hear the first notes of Rockin or Yellow ledbetter then you should be fine

I'm heading back to PA after night 1. My plan is to check the schedule and if I have to leave the show early, I'll head out. I hope not, but seeing them 20+ times I won't mind too much.

But to answer your question, I see night 1 over by 11:20

MSG can always surprise you... there is an 11pm curfew... but it has been broken on several occasions.

what branch line?....I've never had a problem getting home after concerts, i'm on the Babylon Line. If you miss the last train, just go get drunk and sleep in Penn until the early am train comes.

i think both shows last time ended around 20-25 after 11... I think curfew is 11 and they work to get it pushed to 11:15 or so ... I think you'll be fine.

But like as already been said - just get ready to go during YL or Indifference or whatever looks to be the closer. Even if you just get near the exit - then you can run out as soon as you know its over. :)

Friday show could go past 11:30 (weekend curfew is 12 I think) if they come on closer to 9, then you know it will run later
I think Thurs will end before 11:30 (If they are not starting until 8:45 or so, 11:30 is about right)

    just based on past experiences

Hartford ended around 11:10pm on Saturday - show clocked in just under 2.5hrs. I'd expect MSG to run slightly longer...and they've been known to break curfew before.

Awesome, thanks everyone! Would be a shame to miss ANY Pearl Jam, but worse things could happen. After all, seeing 39 and a half out of 40 songs at night two wouldn't be the worst thing ever
    ..Well, I can dream.

You and I are in the same boat. My Amtrak leaves at 11:50, so I may have to miss the closer, would rather not but can't walk around NYC all night either!!

If you miss the 11:45 one out of Penn to LI on the Port Jeff line there is another around 1 and then 1:45. if I happen to miss the 11:45 then Ill be grabbing a burger and a beer at my favorite place in Penn. :D

don't listen to him. stay until the last note is played. take your chances getting home man. my friend and i got lost walking around the wrong side of chicago back in 98', spent the night in o'hare and flew back to STL the next morning to take a college algebra mid-term.

And I'm guessing that it was one of the best stories you have to tell for the rest of your life right?

In 2005, I saw Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals at Irving Plaza. They did not go on until late and it was an almost 3 hour show. I missed the last train upstate where I was living at the time. My friend slept on the street in Times Square while I did word searches on a book I bought in the Port Authority (we took the bus home) until 6 AM. I caught a drumstick from Leon Mobley that night, and Charlie Musselwhite played Dressed in Black with the band. It was an awesome night.
