Is night 1 better than night 2?

I've seen over 20 shows and I'm too lazy to look it up...

the philly shows in october (night off between night 2 and 3)...my opinion was night 1 was better than night 2. night 3 was better than night 4 (though all shows were incredible)

Just wondering if anyone has a theory/opinion on whether PJ puts up a better effort on night 1 of back to back shows. I'll be at newark on tuesday (after the only boston show on monday) and both MSG shows. I think every show is great...interested to hear what others think

    I was at cleveland a few nights ago...I think that set was better than buffalo (due to opener and Last Kiss)

    it can go either way. i've seen better nights 1's and better night 2's
