10 club seats?

We were able to get 10 club seats for NYC on Friday. Hooray. My impression was that if you got the 10 club tickets you were in the first 10 rows in front of the stage, but in reading other posts it looks like the 10 club tickets can be anywhere. Can any 10 club members clear this up for me? Just want to know what to expect on Friday. Thanks!!!

SEATING

* Seat location is not revealed until tickets are collected on the day of the show.
* We reserve the best seats in the house for fan club tickets, starting from the first rows on the floor and extending back. We also reserve the side sections closest to the stage when necessary. All Ten Club tickets are for reserved seating unless otherwise announced.
* Ten Club tickets are for reserved seating and allocated by membership seniority, with the exception of rows 1-2 and rows 9-10 which will be used for random allocation.
* Group seating is not an option, but your pair of tickets will be seated together.
* Wheelchair accessible seating is available through the Ten Club pre-sale. If you require ADA seating, please contact us directly at tickets@tenclub.net or 1-800-724-8038.
* General Admission tickets purchased through the fan club will allow fan club members early entry into the venue whenever possible. Members will receive wristbands which will authorize early entry. Ten Club reserves the right to make changes to this policy when deemed necessary.

what is your 10c number? Rows 1 & 2 and 9 & 10 are given to random members (a lottery of everyone in the club) all other rows are filled by senority, lowest numbers first.

If you recently joined the 10C I would expect your seats to be near the last 10 rows of the floor, not the first 10.

Seriously

I think even that would be wishful thinking if they just joined, considering the amount of 10 clubbers going

Go to your profile from the homepage and click on membership info. This should show you
your membership #. Then go join touringfans.net and find the tour dates section. Look up
the 2008 MSG shows and find 10c numbers close to yours and see where they are seated.
This should give you a ballpark idea of what to expect for 10c seating with your number.

If you're under the impression that the 10c membership gets you seats in the first 10 rows at MSG.......it sounds like you just joined the 10 Club.
All we know is there is a letter, a porch, people who don't wave, and something about a box or a bag.

Well according to the ten club rules I could be in row 1 and 2 or 9 and 10 as they are random lottery tickets, that is MY impression. I did not just join the club. Thanks for the positive feedback PJINFLA!!

1-2-9-10 are for the lottery winners....

the rest of the 10club tickets will be distributed based on seniority.

Enjoy the show....
Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
• No. Based on your original post, you are under the impression that 10Club gets you seats in the first ten rows. That's what you said you thought. You didn't mention anything about the lotto system.

Welcome to the Ten Club.

I have heard that if the Ten Club considers you a "local fan", in this case, one living in or near NYC, they may give you a little bit of a boost towards the front. In 2003, I saw them in an outdoor venue. I'd say I was just a bit past the "halfway back" point in the pavilion. In 2010, I saw them in an indoor venue. I was on the floor in the 16th row.

I would think you could be anywhere on the floor or probably anywhere in the lower bowl. There is no rhyme or reason as to winning the lottery. Some people go 0 for 16 in the lottery, while others go 2 for 2.
