Need Help with Portugal

Because the planets aligned (or something like that), my wife, sister, brother-in-law and I are all going to be heading to Lisbon from Barcelona on July 10...and what do you know, PJ just happens to be playing there that night!
I have been to 20+ shows in the states but this will be my first-time Euro experience. I'm taking a soccer team to France-Spain for a tournament the week before and was able to work this into the plan.
Already have the hotel. Get in the morning of the 10th. Anybody with Euro show experience out there mind giving few tips, pointers, ideas for Lisbon or the festgival? In particular, the purchasing of tix. Should I have them sent to my home in the states or what's best?
Any meet ups before the show?
All help appreciated!

Good day sir!
I'm going to the show in Venice, Italy and I had the tickets mailed to my adress in Norway. It only took 2 days with DHL. But depending on where you live, buy tickets from etc. I guess the deliverytime vary. But I've been told by people at LiveNation (european ticketmaster type) that the purchase is reg. to your creditcard, so it's supposed to be safe to pick it up at the venue. Think it's 1hour before showstart. But seems to be a big hassle to me. Many peoples, long queue, and so on.
but it depends on how you feel about it. To me it's simpler to just have to tickets mailed home. not to cool if there should be a mixup/problem with tickets and you've traveled a long way for the show!
Anyway good luck! :P

Can't wait!!!
its a wide open dirt field bordering the Tagus river,
with the rock stage at one end and the techno tent at the other.
the weather was perfect, it was not very crowded, beers were 2 euros for 12 ounces,
and the port-o-johns were the cleaniest iv ever had the pleasure of using
RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE,BOB DYLAN AND NEIL YOUNG were the 3 day headliners.
if need be, you can buy tickets at the front gate, thats what I did.
the venue is about a 20 minute cheap train ride outside Lisbon, very easy to get to.
make sure you get a round trip ticket, once PJ finishes, things will get a little hectic at the train station.
gates open around 3pm but dont expect PJ to start until around midnight and end maybe around 230am
and then there should be at least one train to get you back to downtown lisbon, but there might only the one train.
