There's a super-fun clickable trail for LBC that begins under "Music" -> "Studio Albums" -> "Riot Act"...

which indicates it was last played in '08 in Camden.

Personally, I don't think it's been terribly missed. It's a little...one note. And was offered as the poster-boy for Riot Act, which is generally...not as well received as the other albums.

To sum up, I'd never miss it at a show. But that's just me.
  • i knew it was sometime in 08, the point of this wasnt to pinpoint the last date but to find out why its been awhile.

and this used to be my most-hated pearl jam song, until one day i heard it completely differently

My point was that pin points are so easy to come by.

I used to think "All Night" was junk. Until I didn't. Now I love it. The end.

It really wasnt played there though -- they didnt even get through the first verse if I remember right.

I hope they bring it back for MSG... they barely play any Riot Act anyway!

It looks like the last time it was played was in 2007. The Camden debacle doesn't count, even though it's listed as being played that day.

they screwed it up at camden 2008 and went onto playing corduroy. This was the first song i heard them play live and have heard it many times at PJ gigs (Adelaide 03, Melb 03, Adelaide 06) and want to hear it this year but i doubt it.
I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

I'm honestly surprised it didn't surface at the Spectrum gigs.... it's a great song (like so many others).

LBC got aborted in Camden. That's the last anyone's heard of 'em.

    & I thought this band was pro-choice.

Yeah man, LBC is one of my favourite tunes, guess it's the whole Roskilde thing so they dont like playing it.

love this song and wish they would play it more often. Has some great lyrics especially "and the young they can lose hope cause they can't see beyond today, oh the wisdom that the old can't give away" - just a perfect and so true lyric.

I think they took all the cool parts out and it became Unthought Known.

Can you expand on this.........youre the second person to bring this up in this thread, but apart from the muted intro/outro, what else is similar in these songs?

If you havent been paying attention, Riot Act as a whole has been missing on this tour. I went to three shows, saw 0 Riot Act songs. Heres the breakdown from the tour...
    Can't Keep - 0
Save You - 2 (they used to play this one at about every show)
    Love Boat Captain - 0
    Cropduster - 0
    Ghost - 0
    I Am Mine - 0
Thumbing My Way - 0 (not played since 2006)
Get Right - 0 (not played since 2003)
    Green Diseases - 0
Help Help - 0 (not played since 2003)
    Bushleauger - 0
    1/2 Full - 2
    Arc - 0
    All or None - 0

For what it's worth, Down, a b-side, has been played 4 times, the same amount as the 15 songs on the album put together.
words seem so out of place.

That's the only part. As I stated, they took the rest out of LBC.
