Help Needed From NYC People PLEASE

To all the NYC people out there - I will be traveling with my fiance for MSG 2, my first time in NYC. We are staying in the Millennium UN Plaza hotel. I was just wondering what the walk is like from MSG?

Google says its like a mile and a half, but we will have to walk from penn station to the hotel, then later back to MSG from the hotel, and then back to the hotel after the show.

Just wanted to get some thoughts on if it is a safe/easy walk or if we should get some transportation? Thanks in advance!

    That might be a bit... might want to grab a cab. Cabs with the light on above their roof you can try to grab.

    The Millenium is across town, so I say take a cab each way. Cabs are everywhere and you won't have a problem getting one. It's a pretty far walk- you're going from one side of the island to the other. You can also grab a Metro-card in the subway and take a cross-town bus. The 42 goes straight across 42nd st and the 34 goes straight across 34th st (Where MSG/Penn station is). Just beware, the buses are slow moving during rush hour. Good luck, see ya at the shows!
