Camera Policy at MSG

Anyone know if you can bring a small camera into the Garden? It is a Cannon Powershot SD700.

    i dont see why not. i see cameras at all the knick/ranger games. im binging mine but wont overshoot annoying people around me, ha.

    I believe that band rules trump house rules, so if that is the case, I think you're good to go!

    Also, does the SD 700 give you manual aperture/ISO/shutter speed control? If it doesn't, and you haven't done this already, it's worth installing http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/SD700IS - this is a custom firmware which will enable control of these factors - something very helpful to produce good shots at a show.

    Last Oct KISS had "No Cameras" on their tickets yet MSG staff had no problems with my Panasonic Lumix and to quote the security staff: "We know there will be cameras in there, so long as you don't annoy people we don't mind". There were hundreds of cameras in there.

    PS. I was at KISS purely for nostalgic reasons :roll:

    You won't have any problems, unless its one of the supped up models with a detachable lens, otherwise you're fine. Taken my point and shoot canon in many times. No problem.
