Help! Need Best Live Versions Of Songs!
I'm putting together a setlist mix of PJ's best live versions of songs that you might see in a setlist. For instance, if "Of The Girl" was the opener, what's a good version (venue + year), if "Baby O'Riley was the closer, what is the best version (venue + year) etc. I'm making a Frankenstein-setlist of the best versions of songs from different shows. Any suggestions for songs to include (venue + year)???
Here are some songs I'm probably going to include: No Way, Baba O'Riley, Nothingman, Garden, Animal, Corduroy, Release, Satan's Bed, Throw Your Arms Around Me, Brain Of J, Severed Hand, Thumbing My Way, Breakerfall, Hail Hail.
That's just a tentative list. Any suggestions as to the best versions of those songs? Any other songs to include?
I'm at home moping (yet again) because I got to see an awesome show in New Orleans (so grateful!!!), was supposed to catch St. Louis and MSG 1 and both the latter two shows have fallen through for various reasons. Ah well...next time! And yes...there will be more shows...maybe even one in Minneapolis-St. Paul or at least within driving distance!

You'll mostly just get people saying versions of songs from shows they went to.
That's probably true, but that's more or less what I'm looking for. I just want to put together a quality live mix that would make a really awesome show. No better way to do that than asking people who've seen them or downloaded them.
As far as narrowing my definition of "best," I'm looking for quality recording/sound, good energy, great solos, unique twists, etc.
Any suggestions???
